Register once for Office Hours and your Zoom link works for every session in the series. Come to the topics that matter to you, skip the ones that don’t, and the replay lands in your inbox either way.
Most investor webinars are one big sales event. Office Hours is the opposite. It’s a short, recurring session built around teaching one idea well and then opening the floor. Built for accredited investors who want to learn the asset class on their own schedule.
Physicians, attorneys, tech, finance. You want depreciation friendly passive income without becoming a landlord on the side. We cover how the K-1 and quarterly distributions actually work.
Senior individual contributors and managers whose calendars are already full. Thirty minutes every other week is a manageable way to learn an asset class properly, one topic at a time.
Concentrated equity in your own business is a feature and a risk. Multifamily distributions sit outside your cap table and run on a different cycle than your operating income.
Each session stands on its own. Pick the dates that fit, register once, and we’ll remind you before each one. Topics may shift to follow what’s moving in the market, and we always read the room on the Q&A.
The plain English explainer. How high earners own apartments without being landlords, and where the returns come from.
How the permanent reinstatement of bonus depreciation lets a single investment generate large first year paper losses.
Coastline, restrictive zoning, and scarce land keep supply tight. The structural reasons rents hold even in soft years.
Preferred return, equity splits, the waterfall, fees, and the red flags that separate conservative deals from risky ones.
New topics are added as the series runs. Registered once already? You’re on the list for all of these. Nothing more to do.
No firehose. Each session takes a single topic and explains it in plain English, so you actually leave understanding it, not just hearing it.
The part attendees rate highest. Bring your own situation and get a straight answer from the person who underwrites these deals for a living.
We pull live market data into the relevant sessions, so what you hear reflects where rents, rates, and supply actually sit right now.
Miss one? The recording and slides hit your inbox within 24 hours, so the series works even when your calendar doesn't.
CEO and Managing Director, Fidelity Business Partners
Ten years in commercial banking, treasury management, and CRE finance before founding FBP. Carlsbad based, walks San Diego submarkets on foot, and uses the same frameworks on FBP's own balance sheet that he teaches on Office Hours. He started the series for one reason. The best questions never fit inside a single pitch, and accredited investors deserve a standing place to ask them.
Once. Your registration covers the whole series. We send a reminder with the Zoom link before each session, so you can choose which topics to attend without signing up again. The replay and slides go out after every session regardless.
It’s an education first series. We reference current FBP positioning and the kinds of deals we underwrite, because that’s how the lessons stay concrete. If you want to talk specifics about a particular offering after, you can book a 1:1 with John. Specific offerings are made only through formal PPM and subscription documents to verified accredited investors.
Yes. Under SEC Reg D Rule 506(c), our offerings are restricted to accredited investors, so we ask for accreditation status at registration. If you’re not yet accredited, we’ll still send you the replays and educational materials so you can learn the asset class.
Nothing. Office Hours is free. The replay and slides go to every registrant within 24 hours of each session. The live Q&A is the most valuable part, so come live when the topic is right for you.
Please do. The calendar is shaped by what registrants want covered and what’s moving in the market. Reply to any reminder email with a topic or a question and we’ll work it into a future session.
Thirty minutes. Roughly 20 minutes of teaching on the day’s topic, then about 10 minutes of open, unscripted Q&A. Short enough to fit a lunch break, focused enough to be worth it.
